The aim of the course is to make you skilled at coherent, logical and linguistically correct academic writing in the format of the 3 essays. The essays we are working on during the year are preparing you for the much more ambitious but essentially similar work of expressing your analytical ideas in the BA paper you will be writing during your 3rd year of studies.
