Introduction to Legal English with elements of Law Enforcement is a course for learners who need to use specialized language in their studies and/or work. Suitable also for self-study, the course prepares learners for using English in different areas of law environment and law enforcement. It is divided into four semesters.

🇬🇧 English for LAW ENFORCEMENT is a complementary course designed to meet the communication needs of law enforcers including: police officers, customs officers, security personnel, military police and other uniformed services. The course equips learners with the language and information they need to operate effectively in different law enforcement contexts. It focuses on the functional language and stimulates interactive language practice.
The course covers the following topics (examples) :
• organized crime • mafia • international surveillance • public order and safety • military defence • border & customs control • criminal prevention • investigation techniques • human trafficking • human rights abuse • domestic violence • emergencies and crisis management etc.
🇵🇱 Angielski dla SŁUŻB MUNDUROWYCH to uzupełniający kurs języka 'branżowego' opracowany z myślą o potrzebach komunikacyjnych organów ścigania (policjantów, celników, pracowników ochrony, żandarmerii wojskowej oraz innych służb mundurowych), dla których język angielski stanowi lub będzie stanowić niezbędny element efektywnej komunikacji i pracy w środowisku międzynarodowym (np. INTERPOL / EUROPOL / CIVPOL etc.)
Kurs obejmuje m.in. następujące tematy :
