International Legal English is a course for law students or newly-qualified lawyers who need to use English in their legal work or studies. Suitable also for self-study, the course prepares learners for using English in different areas of law environment and is divided into five semesters.
The following legal topics are covered during the 5th semester [5/5] of this course:
- Secured transactions : security interest / pledge / fixed & floating charges / attachment
- Debtor - creditor : mortgages / liens / first in time rules / priority creditors
- Competition law : single European market / antitrust / market economies / price fixing / merger regulation
